In addition, the Cambie Surgery Centre is accredited by the college of Physicians and Surgeons Non-Hospital Medical and Surgical Facilities Accreditation Program.
Accreditation Canada is the national body which accredits all teaching hospitals in Canada. Only a minority of Canadian hospitals achieve exemplary status and to do so requires that the facility exceeds the accepted national standards of excellence in quality of care and patient safety.
